Extension privacy notice
What To Reply
Last updated: October 7, 2026
This notice describes the What To Reply browser extension. It supplements the Leadsgram Privacy Policy, which covers your Leadsgram account and other services.
At a glance
When you ask for a reply, relevant conversation or page content is sent to Leadsgram for AI processing. Folder outreach can keep reading and sending messages after you press Run. Screenshots of supported posts are an optional feature.
Information the extension handles
- Account and settings: your Leadsgram account name or email, connection tokens for this browser, writing preferences, persona and brand details, selected environment, and extension status. Outreach also keeps a browser device identifier and connected sender details.
- Reply requests: the visible chat or email messages, sender names, post and comment text, email subject, text you select, an existing draft, your instructions, and the writing preferences needed to create suggestions. You choose when to request a draft.
- Folder outreach: the connected WhatsApp Web, Instagram, or LinkedIn account identity; recipient identifiers; messages and conversation history needed to prepare, send, verify, and check campaign messages; and delivery or error details. After you press Run, this work can continue in the background until you pause it or the connection stops.
- Support reports: only when you choose to send a bug report, the extension can send your description, account email, browser information, current site hostname, recent request outcome, and page-adapter diagnostics to Leadsgram support logs. You can preview the report before sending it.
Browser access and permissions
The extension runs on WhatsApp Web, LinkedIn, Gmail, X, Instagram, Facebook, Reddit, and Leadsgram. Its shortcut or context menu can also work with text you select on another active page. Site access lets the extension read the content needed for the feature you use and carry out outreach actions you start. It does not use these permissions to build a general browsing history.
Browser storage keeps your connection and preferences; scripting and active-tab access let the extension open its panel and work with the current page; the context menu and shortcut open it on demand; and alarms wake outreach tasks while Run is enabled. All-sites access is requested separately for post screenshots.
Post screenshots
If you enable post screenshots, the extension can capture and crop the relevant post when drafting a comment on supported sites. The cropped image is uploaded to Leadsgram cloud storage and a link is included with the draft request. Chrome may ask for optional access to all sites for this feature. You can turn that access off in the extension popup or setup page.
Leadsgram tries to delete an uploaded screenshot after the request finishes or is cancelled. A browser interruption or failed cleanup can leave a screenshot in storage longer. We cannot promise deletion the moment a reply arrives; contact us if you need a particular capture removed.
Storage and retention
Connection tokens and settings are kept in this browser's extension storage; preferences are also saved to your Leadsgram account so they work across connected browsers. Outreach may keep pending or unconfirmed send records locally for reconciliation. Disconnecting clears the connection tokens but may leave local preferences or past outreach records until you remove the extension or clear its storage.
Leadsgram stores submitted conversations, outreach records, and AI results in its service databases. We do not promise a fixed automatic deletion time for extension job records. The general Leadsgram policy describes account deletion requests and other retention categories, but those periods should not be read as an automatic deletion promise for every extension request. You can ask us to identify and delete data associated with your account, subject to any records we must retain.
